BRA.W8.500 - Vibration dampening intermediate piece
The BRA.W8.500 series includes vibration-dampening intermediate pieces designed for use in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, water distribution, and compressed air applications. These components are engineered to reduce mechanical vibrations between flanged connections, ensuring smoother operation and longer system life. The series features EPDM flexible elements and galvanized steel flanges, with nominal diameters ranging from DN 20 to DN 200 and lengths of 70 mm or 90 mm depending on size.
These intermediate pieces are suitable for water-based systems with up to 50% glycol content and operate within a temperature range of -10°C to +100°C. Maximum working pressure is 10 bar, with flanges conforming to PN 10 standards (PN 6 available on request). They are not recommended for steam, gases, or hydrocarbon-based fluids.
How to choose
- Select the correct nominal diameter (DN 20–200) based on the pipe size and system requirements.
- Ensure compatibility with flange standards (PN 10 or PN 6) and thread types as per STN EN 1092-1.
- Verify the operating temperature and fluid composition to confirm suitability for water with up to 50% glycol content.
- Confirm the length (70 mm or 90 mm) matches the spacing between flanges in the installation.
