Cable detector LA-1012
The cable locator is composed of two parts - a transmitter and a receiver. These parts are portable measuring instruments and are used for detecting and tracing wires and cables. The signal generated by the transmitter is essentially a modulated current that creates a weak magnetic field around the conductor. This electromagnetic field induces a voltage in the receiver coil. This induced voltage is amplified, decoded and converted to the original signal by the receiver. The result is shown on the display. The transmitter parameters set must correspond to the type of conductor to be measured and must form a closed current circuit with the conductor.
