We offer you an optimally designed 190 Wp solar system for caravans and motorhomes with a 5 year warranty on the solar panels and solar controller. This system operates with a battery voltage of 12V. This is one of the most commonly sold and used solar systems of our range.
Don't want to pay high electricity connection fees at the campsite, or need power anytime and anywhere away from civilization? Simply use solar energy to charge the on-board battery in your caravan/ motorhome.

The solar system includes the following components:
2x Solar panel Victron Energy 90Wp/12V (dimensions 780x668x30mm)
1x PWM solar controller Victron Energy LCD&USB 20A
1x Cable set 6mm2 incl. pressed connectors MC4 - length 15 m
1x Merge connector MC4-pair

This kit does not include a battery. If you do not have an on-board battery in your motorhome, we recommend choosing a sealed AGM, GEL, or LiFePo battery from the solar battery section. We will be happy to help you with the right choice.

How much energy can this solar system produce on average 190Wp at optimal glare in SR?

We recommend fixing the panels to the caravan roof using the time-tested 68cm bracket set (not included in the kit price), which can be found in the same section as this kit. There is also a waterproof grommet for the two cables leading from the panel and suitable adhesive.

The Victron Energy LCD&USB 30A solar controller makes the system completely unattended and has a clear integrated LCD display. This provides you with interesting information about the operation of the entire system. Directly on the front of the solar controller you will also find two USB outputs suitable for charging mobile phones, for example. After installation, you select one of four preset battery types: AGM, GEL, liquid or LiFePO4

NOTICE:
The assembly includes a 6mm2 cable 15m long, on the ends of the cable are pressed MC4 connectors used to connect to the solar panel. The installing electrician will retrofit the cable ends leading to the solar controller with glands and suitable DC fusing. For the battery, the cable shall be terminated with suitable lugs and suitable DC fusing according to the battery type and installation conditions.

We will be happy to advise you on the selection of a suitable battery type, suitable voltage converter 12DC/230AC. In our offer you will also find the products necessary for charging from the alternator while driving.

How to choose the right solar system?
Multiply the consumption in Watts of the individual devices powered by the solar system by the number of hours of expected operation per day. The result will be the total Wh (watt-hours) demand per day. If this figure is lower than the values given for each season, the system performance is sufficient, otherwise a more powerful system must be selected.
