The ADEX TTUV electronic thermostat consists of the TTUV1 control module, the TTUV2 switching module and the temperature sensor. The TTUV1 control module ensures the setting of the thermostat's switching temperature and the differential (difference) between the thermostat's switching temperature and the switching temperature. Two separate adjustment elements are used to set these parameters. The TTUV2 switching module provides power to the TTUV thermostat and contains an output relay with a switching contact. The switching module is built into a plastic box with a mains plug. The temperature sensor is supplied with a 180 cm lead.

This type of thermostat has been developed for DHW storage tank charging needs to limit the frequency of switching of the charging source - usually a gas boiler. This is done by setting the difference between the on and off temperature to approx. 30 °C. Due to its versatility, the TTUV thermostat can also be used in a number of other applications. The ADEX TTUV electronic thermostat is used to maintain the temperature within a selected range by controlling the heat source via a relay switching contact. By selecting the size of the range between the switch-on and switch-off temperature, the frequency of switching of the heat source can be predetermined. Thanks to the relay switching contact, cooling or venting applications can also be found. When the set temperature is reached at the connected sensor, the TTUV thermostat switches off the output relay. When the temperature drops by the set differential, the output relay will switch on.
