The dimensions of 475 x 370 x 140 mm define the footprint and depth of the basin, which is suitable for standard or compact cabinetry. The single pre-drilled hole accommodates a standard wall-mounted tap. The matte black glaze is a surface finish that reduces the visibility of water deposits and fingerprints. The ceramic material is non-porous and easy to clean, making it suitable for high-hygiene environments.

Installation and connection

The Enea washbasin is mounted on the surface of the cabinetry or worktop and does not require a cut-out. It must be placed on a flat, stable surface with sufficient load-bearing capacity. The installation involves securing the basin to the surface and connecting the waste pipe and water supply. The pre-drilled hole is designed for a standard wall-mounted tap, which must be mounted separately. It is recommended to have the plumbing connections carried out by a qualified plumber to ensure a watertight seal and proper drainage. Common installation errors include incorrect alignment of the waste pipe, improper sealing of the tap hole, and failure to secure the basin adequately to the surface.

Compatibility and accessories

The Enea washbasin is compatible with standard wall-mounted taps and waste systems. It does not include a tap or waste outlet in the package, so these must be selected and installed separately. The matte black finish pairs well with black taps, brushed brass, or chrome finishes. It is recommended to select a tap with a matching finish for a cohesive look. No additional mounting brackets or supports are included, as the basin is designed to rest directly on the surface. Related products include wall-mounted taps and waste outlets, which must be selected separately based on the system requirements.

Technical background for designers

The Enea washbasin is cast from a single piece of sanitary ceramic, which provides a smooth, non-porous surface that is resistant to staining and easy to clean. The matte black glaze is applied during the firing process and provides a modern aesthetic that is less prone to showing water deposits and fingerprints. The ceramic material is durable and suitable for long-term use in high-humidity environments. The basin is designed for countertop installation and does not require a cut-out, making it suitable for retrofitting or new installations. The dimensions and shape are optimized for compact spaces, and the single pre-drilled hole ensures compatibility with standard wall-mounted taps. The material and design contribute to the overall durability and ease of maintenance of the fixture.

Service and operation

The Enea washbasin requires minimal maintenance due to its non-porous ceramic surface and matte black glaze. Regular cleaning with a mild detergent and a soft cloth is sufficient to maintain its appearance. It is important to ensure that the waste pipe is properly sealed to prevent leaks and water damage. The manufacturer provides a 2-year warranty, which covers defects in materials and workmanship. No specific service intervals are required, but it is recommended to inspect the connections periodically for signs of wear or leakage. The ceramic material is resistant to cracking and chipping under normal use, but care should be taken to avoid impact from heavy objects.
