The Ermenrich Ping MK10 clamp meter is a portable meter that does not require a circuit break to measure current, ensuring safe working with electrical networks and electrical equipment. The digital clamp meter is indispensable in cases where the power cannot be switched off and is suitable for use when measuring in hard-to-reach places.

The instrument combines the functions of a voltmeter (DC and AC voltage measurement), ammeter (AC current measurement) and ohmmeter (resistance measurement). Calculations are performed using the actual effective value (True RMS method) and therefore the accuracy of the measurement of variable quantities is high. Other features of this model include circuit continuity test and diode testing for faults.

The measurement results and operating parameters of the instrument are displayed on the built-in display. The backlighting of the display facilitates work in low light and in complete darkness. There is a hold function for displaying the measured value, which is useful in situations where it is not possible to immediately read the measured values from the instrument. Once activated, the readings are "frozen" on the display and can be accessed at a later time.

The instrument requires a pair of standard batteries to operate. The automatic shut-off feature helps conserve battery power. When the batteries are low, a warning will be displayed that they need to be replaced.
