The electrical device is designed for the protection of electric motors and pumps for drilled wells.

The device protects electric pumps against:
- overcurrent
- missing phase (three-phase version only)
- short circuit
- dry running
- operating status is indicated by LEDs

The water level is not controlled by conductivity probes, but by changing the cos φ (action) of the motor. In case of dry running, the pump is briefly
turned off. The system checks four times automatically whether there is sufficient water for pump operation after restarting. The pump then remains permanently switched off (no water).
