The SONOFF Dongle Max is a powerful ZigBee gateway that allows easy and stable connection of a ZigBee device to Home Assistant or Zigbee2MQTT. It features powerful components, PoE support and three connectivity options - Ethernet, Wi-Fi or USB - and will work well in a variety of installation conditions.

Versatile connectivity options
Dongle Max offers several connection options: via Ethernet with PoE power, Wi-Fi or classic - via USB. Thanks to this, you can place the gateway in the most convenient location - on a table, on a wall, etc. The lack of constraints means it's easier to adapt the layout of your home or office. Dongle Max works with popular open-source platforms and thanks to automatic detection, configuration literally takes a moment. The device supports a variety of functions - it can act as a Zigbee coordinator, router or support Thread RCP. MultiPAN support - i.e. simultaneous Zigbee and Thread support - is also planned for the future.

Powerful components
The gateway uses two proven chipsets: the EFR32MG24 for ZigBee and Thread support and the ESP32 for Wi-Fi communication. This combination guarantees stability, fast data transfer and low power consumption - which is especially important if you are planning to expand your smart installation.

Thoughtful solutions
From the local web console, you can view device status, update firmware, change settings or configure the webhook - without installing additional software. Everything is done through a simple interface that you can access from any device on your local network. In addition, you can remotely switch firmware, use the webhook for notifications and backups, manage multiple Dongle Max devices at the same time, or adjust the color and brightness of the LED indicators.
