The ZD-939D benchtop service station with display has a temperature range of 160 °C - 480 °C. This makes it great for desoldering sensitive SMD circuits such as QFP, SOP, PLCC, SOJ, BGA, etc. It protects circuits from static electricity damage and power surges. But it is also applicable in many other applications where concentrated hot air flow is important, e.g. cleaning 3D printers, hot deployment, heating materials during maintenance or assembly. The temperature can be set on the LCD display, quickly warming up to operating temperature. The amount of air can be regulated continuously by controlling the mebran pump and by using the four different spikes that are included. Additional spike-adaptors according to the shape of the SMD component can be purchased. The handle is equipped with non-slip rubber, which offers greater comfort and facilitates handling. The handle of the heat gun has a built-in sensor. As soon as you pick it up, it immediately goes into working mode, and as soon as you return it to the holder, it goes into standby mode. The automatic standby function saves energy considerably.
