Kidde K10SCO CO gas detector and fire detector
Code: ABCT_A500008881Product detailed description
Combination Fire and Carbon Monoxide (CO) Detector - The Kidde K10SCO is a battery-powered combination device for detecting fire, smoke and the deadly hazard of carbon monoxide (CO) in one device, offering dual protection for maximum safety. The device is guaranteed for 10 years. The Kidde K10SCO is a battery-powered combination fire, smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) lethal detection device in one device, offering dual protection for maximum safety comfort. The Kidde K10SCO has a unique voice alert system to help you determine which hazard has just been detected - the alarm notifies: "CARBON MONOXIDE WARNING!" ("WARNING! CARBON MONOXIDE!" or "FIRE FIRE!". The voice alert system will also alert the user if the detector enters a temporary silencing mode, if an undesired CO level is detected in the detector's highest measurement memory, or if the power battery capacity is no longer sufficient. Thanks to the 10-year lifetime of the second generation electrochemical sensor (for carbon monoxide detection) and the photoelectric sensor (responsible for fire alarm detection), the Kidde K10SCO provides a 10-year warranty and has up to 50% longer lifetime and thus protection than many other detectors and alarms on offer. Approval The Kidde K10SCO dual smoke and carbon monoxide detector is independently tested to meet all European standards. Of course, it is both CE certified to EN 50291-1:2018 (electrical equipment for the detection of carbon monoxide in residential areas) and approved to EN 14604:2005/AC:2008 (stand-alone smoke detectors). The detector is eligible for installation in new buildings in accordance with Decree No. 268/2011 Coll. (formerly No. 23/2008 Coll.), on technical conditions for fire protection of buildings, which stipulates that every new building and defined construction object must be equipped with an autonomous detection and signalling device. Compliance with the above standards has been confirmed by the independent notified testing body TÜV Rheinland. The device is therefore suitable for installation in all living areas. The combination detector is equipped with a multifunctional Test / Reset / Hush button, which is capable of: (a) verify the correct functioning of the device, b) recall a smoke event or the highest CO level measured since the device was reset, thus allowing the user to check whether, for example, carbon monoxide has been present in the monitored area during his absence, (c) allow the detector to be temporarily silenced for approximately 10 minutes. The status of the sensors, battery and internal circuitry is monitored by the automatic device monitoring system. The battery power supply allows the device to be placed in an optimal position. The device includes a mounting bracket designed to mount the device on the ceiling or wall. Some information about the CO Carbon monoxide is a colourless, tasteless and odourless gas that is produced when fossil fuels such as coal, oil, natural gas, LPG, coal and wood are burnt badly. It can also be produced by poorly maintained or faulty fuel-burning appliances used for domestic heating, such as: boilers, gas appliances, karmas, barbecues, blocked chimneys, ventilation systems or damaged flue pipes. Common symptoms of CO poisoning include headaches, nausea, fatigue or muscle pain - but these can easily be confused with a diagnosis of flu. It is therefore important to protect your family and home with carbon monoxide detectors. Advantages of the device - 2 detectors in 1 compact device - Kidde electrochemical technology for CO detection - Kidde photoelectric (optical) technology for smoke detection - 50% longer lifetime compared to conventional detectors and detectors - 85dB loud alarm signaling - Unique voice alert system - Test / Reset function - Peak/Level function - HUSH function - Battery power supply - Wall or ceiling mounted installation - End-of-life indication - Low cost of operation - Safety mechanism to prevent accidental disconnection of the detector - Low battery indication - Indication of malfunction and end of operating time - Easy installation and handling - 10-year warranty on the device Product specifications Sensor Technology: CO: Kidde electrochemical technology - patent, one of the most accurate technologies in the world.
