The recommended pH value for pool water is between 6.8 and 7.6. Within this range, the greatest chlorine action without side effects is given. The pH value determines the pleasant bathing sensation, the correct function of the equipment, etc. The pH must be checked at least once a week using a test kit. A pH below 6.8 can lead to increased corrosion of metal and concrete, fading of the pool colours and irritation of the eyes and skin. To increase the pH value by 0.2, the dosage is 11 g/m3 of water (1 level tablespoon). The product is dosed to increase the pH value to a range of 6.8-7.6. It is dosed after dissolving in the container directly into the pool with the filtration device switched on.
