This backup power supply has been in use for approximately 4 months. This is a fully functional product, sold with a 24 month warranty. The backup power supply is clean, undamaged, lightly scratched from normal use. Sold complete in slightly torn original packaging.

UPS MHPower MPU-1050 is ideal as a backup source for a circulation pump, as a backup source for a boiler or as a backup source for a fireplace stove. However, thanks to its clean output sine curve and robust toroidal transformer, it is also suitable for backing up many other devices such as household appliances, power tools, chargers, compressors, pumps, motors, electric drives, office equipment, television equipment, telecommunications, servers, PCs and other powered devicesup to 1050Wcontinuous operation. The backup power supply can be used for example as a UPS for a caravan. The biggest advantage of this power supply is the possibility of connecting an external battery (not included in the device), thanks to which it is able to power the connected appliances for a long time, depending on the selected battery capacity, see the table with the approximate backup time.
 

Features:
When the mains power is supplied, the connected appliances are powered directly from the mains, the external battery is recharged, when the mains fails, the power supply automatically switches to the voltage converter, energy is drawn from the battery, the appliances are powered from the converter. When power is restored, the power supply automatically switches to the mains, the battery starts to recharge. WARNING: There is no backup battery inside the backup power supply. In order for this backup power supply to perform its function, it is necessary to purchase an external battery, which is not included. Without this external battery, the device is unable to operate.

ATTENTION! The backup power supply (UPS) only works when connected to an external battery. It should not be used without a battery connected. When the battery is connected, plug the main power cord into a mains socket (230V, 50 Hz) with a mains earth connection. On the back of the power supply, connect the device you want to operate during a power failure.Follow the following procedure: connect the battery, connect the main power supply, and then connect the appliance(s) to the backup power supply (UPS). To switch the AC load (appliance sockets) on or off, press and hold the power button (ON/OFF) for about 2 seconds.

In the event of a power failure or if the power parameters are not within the normal range, the backup power supply (UPS) automatically switches to the battery. The switching of the UPS to the battery is shown on the UPS display. The UPS device also announces the switching of the UPS to the battery with an audible signal.
