The CRS812 DDQ is a device designed to connect network elements with high data rate requirements, which can reach up to 400 Gbps. The unit is powered by a powerful 2 GHz quad-core ARM AL52400 processor and has 4 GB of DDR4 RAM. For network connectivity, there are 2 Ethernet ports supporting 1G/2.5G/5G/10G speeds as well as connectors for plug-in optical modules with different data rates. The device supports the following module types: (8) SFP56 (1G/2.5G/5G/10G/25G/50G), (2) QSFP56 (40G/50G/100G/200G), and (2) QSFP-DD (40G/50G/100G/200G/400G). The QSFP56 and QSFP-DD ports support the so-called breakout mode, which allows the transmission capacity to be divided into 1G/2.5G/5G/10G/25G/50G speeds. Reliable device operation To ensure high availability, the device is equipped with two redundant hot-swap power supplies and four hot-swap cooling fans. In the event of one power supply or fan failure, the faulty module can be replaced without shutting down the switch.
