Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) Victron Energy's MPPT solar controllers are among the absolute world leaders in the industry and offer ultra-fast MPPT tracking. Particularly under overcast skies with continuous changes in light intensity, this controller makes solar gains 30% higher than conventional PWM controllers or 10% higher than slow MPPT controllers. Especially with partial shading, two or more points of maximum output can be given. Conventional MPPT controllers tend to maintain power at a local power point, but this may not correspond to the optimum (maximum) power point.
