In this new multipack, Solarix self-cutting keystones are available in 24 pieces, in a recyclable cardboard box and without plastic bags. This packaging method is therefore much more environmentally friendly (i.e. instead of plastic packaging, the 24 keystones are packed in one recyclable paper box) and also this packaging allows for quicker availability of the keystones during installation (i.e. no need to unpack the keystones individually). Solarix self-cutting keystones are characterised by their very simple installation, which does not require the use of a cutting tool. These keystones easily meet the parameters specified in the international structured cabling standards ANSI/TIA 568, ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173 for Category 6 and Class E wiring, including all the latest additions. The keystones are fitted with a 180° self-cutting terminal block, which is colour coded according to the wiring type, to either the T568A or T568B standard. This terminal block can accommodate wire types with AWG 26 - 22 conductors. The standard colour of the Solarix unshielded self-tapping keystones is black, while the shielded version has a silver metallic body. Thanks to their compact dimensions, these self-cutting keystones are compatible with modular sockets from most manufacturers (e.g. ABB, Schneider, Legrand, Moeller, Hager, Obzor, etc.). This compatibility can be verified in the compatibility table found in the download files. Compliance with the performance parameters of the Solarix SXKJ-6-UTP-BK-SA keystones has been confirmed by the independent FORCE TECHNOLOGY testing laboratory. The keystones have received Component Level certification from this testing authority. The tests were conducted including verification of compatibility with four-pair PoE (according to IEC 60512-99-002) - the so-called 4PPoE/PoE++.
