- 1 % finely chopped flax fibres blended into the paste
- for metal threaded joints in heating and industrial pipework
- suitable for water systems that do not carry drinking water
- does not dry out, protects threads from corrosion, eases later dismantling
- −30 °C to +140 °C, up to 25 bar (manufacturer data)
This NAZAR compound is based on the NAZAR universal paste with flax fibres added by the manufacturer. As the joint is tightened, the fibres bed into the thread grooves and help it seal.
Important: not intended for drinking-water installations – for potable water choose the NAZAR universal paste without fibres.
Application
Clean the thread, apply the fibre paste and tighten according to the pipe and fitting manufacturer's instructions. Store the tube tightly closed in a dry, ventilated area away from food.
