The 3/4" version of this oblique filter suits a branch line feeding a bathroom or kitchen – several fixtures sharing one supply, where a single 1/2" filter would restrict flow. A fine mesh catches sand, scale and pipe debris, and the removable cartridge carries a magnetic insert that also traps iron and rust particles circulating in older piping.
