20 mm PEX is the pipe size most installers reach for on general distribution runs, and sooner or later that run has to finish at a threaded fixture. This connector makes that transition without cutting into the wall a second time: crimp it onto the pipe, screw the other end straight into place.
A U-profile press jaw secures the PEX side permanently and matches the standard crimping profile used throughout the system, so the same press tool covers this fitting along with every other size in the range. The 1/2'' male thread on the opposite end is a plain BSP thread that seats against its mating port with tape or a washer. The nickel-plated brass body holds up well against corrosion in concealed, damp, or embedded installations.
