PRESS fittings and valves
The PRESS fittings and valves category includes components for radiant ceiling heating and cooling systems. These fittings are used to connect IVARCLIMA pipes in radiant systems and include elbows, tees, crosses, crimping sleeves and thermal insulation. They are made from PPSU and steel and are suitable for temperatures up to +95°C. Cold water prevention valves are also available for systems operating in cooling mode.
These components are designed for press-fit installation and are compatible with PN 10 systems. They are used in radiant ceiling systems to ensure secure and leak-free connections. Thermal insulation options are available for additional energy efficiency.
How to choose
- Select fittings based on the pipe diameter (e.g. 10/1.3 or 20/2) and whether a reduced or equal connection is needed.
- Ensure compatibility with the IVARCLIMA system and that the operating temperature does not exceed +95°C.
- Choose between PPSU and steel materials depending on the application and system requirements.
- For cooling systems, include a cold water prevention valve with a closing temperature of 19°C ± 1.5°C.
Frequently asked questions
What is the maximum operating temperature for press fittings?
Press fittings are suitable for temperatures up to +95°C.
Can I use these fittings for both heating and cooling systems?
Yes, they are compatible with both heating and cooling applications, including IVARCLIMA radiant ceiling systems.
What is the function of the cold water prevention valve?
It prevents the flow of cooling water through the heating elements when the system is in heating mode, closing at 19°C ± 1.5°C.
