There is a brand new shielded TwistPort adapter TPA-RBC designed for MikroTik RouterBOARD platform. It is used to connect the RouterBOARDs RB91x, RB71x, RB4xx and RBM11 series to antennas with TwistPort port. The connection between the RouterBOARD and the TwistPort adapter is solved by two MMCX pigtails. Aluminum chassis The TPA-RBC is made of die-cast aluminum and provides the excellent protection required in outdoor environments. More space inside The TPA-RBC offers more space inside. This free space can be used for any additional equipment when creating a custom radio platform, or for cards with more aluminum cooling. More flexibility In addition to the Ethernet cable grommet, the TPA-RBC also offers three pre-moulded holes for RSMA connectors to connect additional antennas. Lossless connector The TwistPort connector is virtually lossless and changes all established standards due to its easy handling. There are no RF connectors or RF cables that cause significant signal loss. Compared to commonly used coaxial cables and connectors, the loss on the TwistPort is almost unmeasurable. Thus, we can say that the TwistPort is virtually lossless. Connecting and disconnecting is ingeniously simple and can be done with one hand. Wide compatibility The TwistPort is the key element for unlimited possibilities in connecting different types of antennas with the TwistPort connector.
