Optimally designed 200 Wp solar system for cottages and cabins, but also for caravans and motorhomes with a 5-year warranty on the solar controller. This system works with a battery voltage of 12V. This is one of the most commonly sold and used solar systems in our range.
 
The solar system includes the following components:
- 1x Solarfam 200Wp/12V solar panel (dimensions 1100x890x30mm)
- 1x MPPT solar controller Victron Energy SmartSolar 100/20
- 1x Set of 6mm2 cables incl. pressed MC4 connectors on one side - length 10 m
- 1x Battery safety switch + 2x fuse 20A
- 1x Lead gel Deep Cycle battery MHPower 12V 150Ah
- 1x DC circuit breaker ETIMAT 20A
 

This kit does not include a voltage converter from 12V to 230V. If you are planning to use it, please contact us and we will be happy to advise you on choosing a suitable voltage converter.
 

How much energy can this 200Wp solar system produce on average in the Czech Republic under optimal solar insolation?

You can use one of our proven panel holders (not included in the price of the kit) to attach the panel to the roof. For a complete range, please see the Panel Holders section or related products. We recommend mounting the panel to the roof of your motorhome using our time-tested set of plastic corner brackets (not included in the kit price), which can be found in the related products or in the Panel Brackets section. A waterproof grommet for the two cables leading from the panel and suitable adhesive is also provided.
 

The MPPT solar controller Victron Energy SmartSolar 100/20 makes the system completely unattended, thanks to the integrated bluetooth you can simply download the VictronConnect app and monitor production conveniently on your smartphone. The app provides you with interesting information about the operation of the entire system.
 

The kit contains a set of two 10m long cables with a cross section of 6mm2. MC4 connectors are pressed on the ends of the cables for connection to the solar panel. You can also use part of the cable to connect the solar controller and the battery - just install the safety disconnector on this cable as close to the battery as possible according to the diagram on the positive wire. The installing electrician will retrofit the ends of the cables leading to the solar controller with grommets. At the battery, terminate the cable with suitable lugs, according to the type of battery. The cable lugs can also be found in the related products.
 

How to choose the right solar system?
Multiply the consumption in Watts of the individual devices powered by the solar system by the number of hours of expected operation per day. The result will be the total Wh (watt-hours) demand per day. If this figure is lower than the values given for each season, the system performance is sufficient, otherwise a more powerful system should be selected. If you are not sure which system to choose, please contact us and we will be happy to advise you.
 
If any component of the solar system does not suit your needs, we will gladly replace it with another or remove it completely with a corresponding price adjustment. For this modification please contact us or indicate the fact in the notes in the order.
