The SOLARFAM series solar controller, which ensures unattended operation of the system, features a clear, integrated LCD display. It provides information on the solar panel’s voltage and current, battery voltage and charging current, as well as the current drawn by DC-powered appliances. It also offers statistical information on the total amount of energy generated and consumed. Right on the front of the solar controller, you’ll also find two USB ports suitable for charging cell phones, tablets, and other devices.

The kit includes a set of two 10-meter cables. The ends of the cables are fitted with crimped MC4 connectors for connecting to the solar panel. You can also use part of the cable to connect the solar controller to the battery—simply install a safety disconnect switch on this cable as close to the battery as possible, following the diagram. The electrician performing the installation will fit terminals to the ends of the cables leading to the solar controller. At the battery, the cable will be terminated with appropriate terminals depending on the battery type. We reserve the right to change components based on current availability without prior notice. Any such changes will not affect the functionality of the system. This is an oversized item and is not eligible for free shipping. Delivery time from the date the order is placed may be extended by 3–4 business days.
Because these are custom-built kits, some components (e.g., solar panels) come from bulk packaging. For this reason, they may not be delivered in their original individual packaging. However, we guarantee that all items in the kit are brand-new and unused.
