The installation cable marked SXKD-5E-FTP-PE is a CAT5E outdoor screened cable with polyethylene sheath. The cable is designed for more demanding installations where conventional PVC or LSOH sheathed data cable does not provide sufficient protection against environmental influences. Together with the other components of the Solarix structured cabling system, it creates a solution that guarantees long life, maximum performance and trouble-free operation of the computer network. Solarix installation cables - category 5E are designed for horizontal distribution and are offered in shielded and unshielded versions with different sheath types - i.e. PVC, LSOH or UV stable PE. These cables seamlessly meet the requirements defined in the international standards ANSI/TIA/EIA 568, ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173 for category 5E and are also suitable for data transmission speeds up to 1 Gbps (i.e. gigabit Ethernet). Like other Solarix cables, the SXKD-5E-FTP-PE cable is marked by meter increments of 1m, ranging from 0 to 100m. The cable is supplied in a highly durable three-layer polished cardboard box (always colour-coded according to the cable type) on which all necessary product information is provided, including barcodes, batch, description and the most important technical parameters (e.g. NVP in the form of a QR code). When installing in the ground, we always recommend using an HDPE protector.
