This product comes with a 3-year warranty. The UT309C professional non-contact infrared thermometer can quickly and accurately determine surface temperature between -35°C and +650°C by measuring the infrared energy emitted from the target surface. The UT309C is a very durable instrument suitable for everyday use. It is drop resistant from 3m and the excellent IP65 rating ensures good water and dust resistance. To make it easier and more intuitive to aim the instrument at the target surface, a dual wavelength rotating laser is incorporated to indicate the correct aim of the thermometer. The ratio of distance to diameter of the surface to be measured is 12 :1. It is possible to preset the emissivity of the measured surface in the range of 0.1 to 1.0. The indication of preset functions and measured values is provided by a high-contrast LCD black and white display, and the exceeding of temperature limits is indicated by LEDs ( exceeding the upper limit red and lower limit blue ). It is possible to set continuous measurement, where after 2 minutes the display backlight is switched off, after the measurement is finished by pressing the trigger again the temperature value remains on the display. The temperature measurement time is in 95% of cases within 250msec. It is possible to display the minimum, maximum and average temperatures and the difference between the highest and lowest measured temperature ( MIN, MAX, AVG, DIF ). The thermometer automatically switches off, to reduce power consumption, if it is unused for 8 s. This switching off can be switched off.
