The SM5110LSA-10 is a powerful Single Mode, Bi-Directional (uses a single fiber to transmit data back and forth) SFP+ transceiver with 10GBASE-BX support. It supports bi-directional transmission at 10Gbps over distances up to 10 km using 9/125µm fiber optic cable. It transmits at a wavelength of 1330 nm and receives at a wavelength of 1270 nm. It is designed to be used in pair with the SM5110LSB-10. where the two modules use opposite wavelengths to communicate with each other.
