The Tapo C425 is an outdoor bullet camera from the TP-Link Tapo series that can store footage on a memory card with supported capacity of up to 512GB or on Tapo Care Cloud storage (paid service). The camera has a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1440 px at 25/30fps (4MP) and offers a wide 134° horizontal view thanks to its 2.1mm focal length lens. In case of low visibility, the camera features an IR illuminator with a range of up to 15m and a built-in sound siren and light alarm to deter unwanted visitors. In case of communication needs, the camera is also equipped with two-way audio. The camera is powered by a battery that lasts up to 300 days*. The battery life can be extended by using the Tapo solar panel. Due to the IP66 protection, the camera is also suitable for outdoor use. The camera connects to the network via WiFi 802.11b/g/n. * Battery life is based on TP-Link's lab testing with daily use of the camera for 230s. Extending the use to 360s daily will reduce the battery life to 180 days. Actual endurance may vary depending on camera settings, usage and environmental influences.
