the TL-MC1400 14-slot rackmount chassis is specifically designed to house TP-LINK's 14 media converters while providing central power, space saving and power cords. Continuous operation is critical for fiber optic communication, so the chassis is equipped with an optional redundant power supply and on-the-fly replacement feature to allow installation/removal of the converter/power supply without powering down the chassis. In addition, two cooling fans are installed inside to stabilize operating power and extend life. Together with the MC series of Gigabit/Fast Ethernet media converters, the TL-MC1400 is the ideal solution for your media converter network.
