The EdgeRouter X-SFP (ER-X-SFP) is suitable wherever large amounts of data need to be routed, in small and medium-sized businesses and wherever network security is a priority. The EdgeRouter X-SFP is a powerful router from the well-known manufacturer Ubiquiti from the EdgeMAX product line. It is equipped with 5x Gigabit Ethernet ports and a dual-core MIPS1004Kc processor. The big advantage of the Edge Router X-SFP is the SFP port with which you can easily connect and remote points using a fiber optic route. The EdgeRouter X-SFP has a sufficiently large 256MB DDR3 type operating memory. The entire operation is then controlled by an 880 MHz dual-core processor with hardware acceleration for packet processing. The EdgeRouter X-SFP offers all the basic features you expect in a router. Management of the EdgeRouter is done using the intuitive EdgeOS operating system, which allows management via web-based management but also a CLI for advanced features via SSH and Telnet.
