EdgeRouter 12 combines high routing performance of up to 3.4 million packets/second, reliability, security and advanced features in an affordable design. It also features SFP ports for optical network connectivity and PoE In/Out support. EdgeRouter 12 has ten Gbit Ethernet ports and 2 SFP ports for interconnection to the optical network. EdgeRouter supports L2 layer bridging. With the intuitive EdgeOS graphical interface, the router can be easily configured with features such as DHCP, NAT, firewall rules, and other features needed to run your network efficiently. For advanced users, a CLI terminal console is available, so it is possible to use the full potential of the router and set up everything you need in the command line. Setup of the EdgeRouter 12 is also possible in the UNMS (Ubiquiti Network Management System) software. This provides remote configuration of EdgeMAX series devices, an intuitive web interface, graphical reports for efficient monitoring and troubleshooting. The EdgeRouter 12 can be installed in a standard 1U rack using the EdgeRouter rack kit ER-RMKIT, which is sold separately. A 24V/1A DC adapter is included.
