The IsoStation shielded outdoor sector unit brings higher performance to your network with technology that isolates radio communication between devices. With a throughput of up to 450+ Mbps, the IS-5AC consists of an aluminum shielded section with an integrated radio and an easily replaceable antenna. In addition, a 2.4GHz wifi part is integrated to control and set up the unit with your mobile device. Perfect radiation characteristics The IsoStation can be used with a variety of Ubiquiti's "horn" sector antennas. By limiting unwanted radiation and side lobes, multiple of these units can be placed in a small space without interfering with each other, allowing their full performance to be utilized. Multiple units on one mast The asymmetrical 'horn' antennas (60° and 90°) have naturally suppressed side lobes, an extremely small rear lobe and an excellent front-to-back ratio. The included 45° symmetrical antenna has the same advantages as the asymmetrical antennas, plus they are ideal for installations where a larger number of units are required in a small space. Improved noise immunity IsoStation units block or spatially filter ambient noise, increasing immunity to unwanted ambient interference.
