The A37 air quality meter can monitor the concentration of carbon dioxide in the ambient air. Carbon dioxide CO2 is a naturally occurring gas that is produced in large quantities by human activity, and is one of several greenhouse gases in our atmosphere. CO2 is commonly found in the air at a volume concentration of only 0.0407% = 407ppm. If you breathe higher concentrations of CO2, you may be at risk of carbon dioxide intoxication. Symptoms of carbon dioxide intoxication include headache, irregular heartbeat, nausea, unconsciousness or even death.

The A37 monitors the amount of carbon dioxide, temperature and relative humidity. This instrument can be widely used in homes, offices, vehicles, laboratories, offices, hotels, schools, factories, conference rooms, airports, hospitals, restaurants, shopping malls and many other public places. The CO2 measurement range is from 400ppm (0.04%) to 5000ppm (0.5%). The instrument has automatic CO2 calibration and the CO2 value is then measured once every 3 seconds and has the option of setting the system time and date. Then, with a short press of the MODE button, the suspended data (HOLD), or the maximum and minimum (MAX and MIN) values, or the average values (AWG), or the average exposure of persons to CO2 in the workplace during an 8-hour workday or 40-hour workweek (TWA function), or the acceptable limit of CO2 exposure for a short period of time (time-weighted average), usually 15 minutes (STEL function), can be displayed. CO2 values are also indicated in six levels using emoticons.
The device contains a rechargeable Li-ion battery, which can be charged with the included USB/micro USB cable from a 5V/1A source, which can be e.g. a phone charger.
