The UT 353 Noise Meter is a high quality digital sound level meter for environmental control, measurement in healthcare and industry for machine noise. It converts ambient sound into an electrical signal and displays the results on an LCD. It can continuously monitor the sound in the surrounding environment. Includes a sensitive 1/2 inch condenser microphone with a frequency range of at least 31.5Hz to 8000Hz. Measures according to the physiological sensitivity curve of the human ear (A). The noise measurement range is from 30dB to 130dB with a resolution of 0.1dB and an accuracy of ±1.5dB. It is possible to select either a fast 125ms or a slow 1s response rate. Very low power consumption from 3 x 1.5V batteries (R03).
