UT572 is an intelligent instrument for measuring earth resistance and soil resistivity (specific earth resistance). The instrument finds wide application in the design and testing of grounding systems of new-build electrical installations and lightning arresters in construction, industry, substations, telecommunications, etc.

Using 2-wire, 3-wire, 4-wire measurement methods and generating measurement voltages with frequencies of 94Hz and 128Hz, it can determine the ground resistance (Re), the specific ground resistance (ρ), the voltage and frequency of the interfering induced signals Ust and Fst.

The device is designed with a new look, with a large backlit multifunction display. It has a durable housing with double and reinforced insulation.
This instrument has been designed, manufactured and tested according to IEC61010 (Safety Requirements for Electrical Equipment) safety standards in CATIII 300V overvoltage category, EN61010-2-033, EN 61010-031.
