The UT60EU is a digital multimeter with a display range of 9999 that allows measurement of true RMS voltages and currents with automatic and manual range selection. It has 1000V rms overload protection on all ranges, the current range is protected by a 10A/1000V, 6.35 x 32mm tubular fuse. When measuring voltages and currents approaching the limit values of ?990.0V / ?9.900A, an alarm sounds and an "OL" sign is displayed when the limit values are exceeded. It also allows measurement of resistance, capacitance, temperature, frequency, duty cycle, circuit continuity and semiconductor transitions. The circuit is optimized for non-contact electric field measurement in two sub-ranges. The multimeter is equipped with a modern processor with a fast analog to digital converter (3 times/s conversion). The entire multimeter construction is equipped with a durable double insulated housing and is CE certified in Europe and meets CAT II 1000V/CAT III 600V safety classification. The instrument is suitable for work in the laboratory or workshop as well as for normal electrician practice. It is powered by 3 x 1.5V, AAA batteries, which last up to 500 hours due to low consumption.
