Optimally designed 360 Wp solar system for caravans and motorhomes with a 5-year warranty on the solar controller. This system works with 12V battery voltage. This is one of the most commonly sold and used solar systems in our range.
 
The solar system includes the following components:
- 2x Solarfam 180Wp/12V solar panel (dimensions 1230x705x30mm)
- 1x MPPT solar controller Victron Energy SmartSolar 100/30

- 1x Set of 6mm2 cables incl. pressed MC4 connectors - length 10 m
- 1x Circuit breaker DC 32A/C 2P Tongou TOMD6-63DC for DIN rail

- 1x MC4Y Solar Hub Connector Set
 

This kit does not include a battery. If you do not have a battery in your caravan, we recommend choosing a closed AGM, GEL or LiFePo battery from the section Batteries, chargers. We will be happy to help you with the right choice.
 

How much energy can this 360Wp solar system produce on average in the Czech Republic under optimal sunshine conditions?

We recommend mounting the panel on the roof of the caravan using a set of time-tested plastic corner brackets (not included in the price of the set), which you can find in the related products or in the section Panel holders. A waterproof grommet for the two cables leading from the panel and suitable adhesive are also available.
 

MPPT solar controller Victron Energy SmartSolar 100/30 takes care ofcompletely unattended operation of this systemthanks to the integrated bluetooth, you can simply download the VictronConnect app and monitor production conveniently on your smartphone.The app provides you with interesting information about the operation of the entire system. After installation, you select one of four preset battery types: AGM, GEL, liquid or LiFePO4.
 

The kit contains a set of two 10m long cables with a cross section of 6mm2. On the ends of the cables are pressedmC4 connectorsused to connect to the solar panel. You can also use part of the cable to connect the solar controller and the battery - just install the DC circuit breaker on this cable as close as possible to the battery according to the diagram. The installing electrician will retrofit the ends of the cables leading to the solar controller with grommets. At the battery, he will terminate the cable with suitable lugs, according to the type of battery. The cable lugs can also be found in the related products.
 

You need additional system components:
We will be happy to advise you on the selection of a suitable battery type, suitable voltage converter 12DC/230AC. In our offer you will also find the products needed for charging from the alternator while driving.
 
How to choose the right solar system?
Multiply the consumption in Watts of the individual devices powered by the solar system by the number of hours of expected operation per day. The result will be the total Wh (watt-hours) demand per day. If this figure is lower than the values given for each season, the system performance is sufficient, otherwise a more powerful system should be selected. If you are not sure which system to choose, please contact us and we will be happy to advise you.
 
If any component of the solar system does not suit your needs, we will gladly replace it with another or remove it completely with a corresponding price adjustment. For this modification please contact us or indicate the fact in the notes in the order.
