Bluetooth
You can set up, view and configure the Blue Smart IP65 charger via your smartphone. You can view the charger and battery status. Even control the charger's functions using the VictronConnect app. The screen displays the default voltage and current value. You can download the app for iOS and Android here. You can also download the VictronConnect app for free on Google Play or in the App Store. The app is not yet available for Windows mobile phones.

Regeneration
A lead-acid battery that has been undercharged or left discharged for days or weeks will deteriorate due to sulphation. If detected early, sulfation can sometimes be partially reversed by charging at a low current until the battery reaches a higher voltage.
 
Recovery function for fully discharged batteries
Most surge-protected chargers do not recognize batteries that are discharged to zero or near-zero voltage and therefore will not start charging them.However, the Blue Power Charger will attempt to recharge a fully discharged battery with a low current and resume normal charging as soon as sufficient voltage is present at the battery terminals.
 
Ultra-efficient "green" battery charger
At up to 95% efficiency, these chargers produce up to 4 times less heat than the industry standard.When the battery is fully charged, power consumption is reduced to 0.5W, which is 5 to 10 times better than the industry standard.
 
Long life, safety and quiet operation

-Overheating protection: the output current will decrease as the temperature rises up to 60°C, but the charger will not fail.
-The chargers are completely silent: there is no active heatsink (fan) or other moving parts.
 
Storage mode: less corrosion of positive electrodes
Even a lower sustained charging voltage following the absorption phase can cause grid corrosion. It is therefore imperative to continue to reduce the charging voltage if the battery remains connected to the charger for more than 48 hours.
 
Charging with temperature compensation
The optimum charging voltage for a lead-acid battery is the inverse of its temperature. The Blue Power IP65 Charger measures the ambient temperature during the test phase and compensates for it during charging. The temperature is measured again when the charger is in low current mode during maintenance or storage. Therefore, no special setting is needed for cold or hot environments.
 
Charging mode for Li-ion batteries
The Blue Power Charger uses a special charging algorithm for Li-ion (LiFePO4) batteries, with automatic reset of Li-ion undervoltage protection.

Normal charging voltage mode 14,4V - suitable for gel and AGM batteries. High charging voltage mode 14.7V - suitable for open topped liquid batteries.
