Blue backlit digital display for Victron BlueSolar MPPT controllers for monitoring current operating values, displaying history and setting controller operating parameters. It is designed for all Victron BlueSolar MPPT controllers with VE.Direct protocol with four-pin port except the older MPPT 70/15 model (no longer manufactured). The display is not designed for the large Victron BlueSolar MPPT 150/70 and 150/85 controllers (different communication protocol, display included with the controller). !!! Connection cable VE.direct is not included !!! Displayed current values: panel power (W), panel voltage (V), solar gains of the day (kWh), error message (if any), battery charging phase, current to battery (A), battery voltage (V), status of DC output from the controller for powering DC appliances-on/off (if any), current drawn by DC appliances (A, if any). Historical data displayed day by day for the last 30 days: solar gains (kWh), maximum power achieved at the panels (W), maximum voltage achieved at the panels (V), maximum current to the battery (A), maximum voltage achieved at the battery (V), minimum voltage achieved at the battery (V), duration of the fast charging phase in hours (BULK), duration of the absorption charging phase in hours (ABSORPTION), duration of the maintenance charging phase in hours (FLOAT), and the last four error messages. Historical data displayed since start of operation or reset: total solar gains since start of measurement (kWh), maximum measured panel voltage to date (V), maximum measured battery voltage to date (V), minimum measured battery voltage to date (V, for controller firmware version 1.17 and higher), last four error messages. Using the display, the controller can be parameterized: enabling/disabling the parameter setting of the regulator (protection against accidental or unauthorized over-setting of the regulator), operating battery voltage (if not determined automatically), battery type, maximum allowed charging current (A), maximum continuous duration of fast base charging (BULK), maximum continuous duration of absorption phase charging (ABSORPTION), battery voltage for transition to the absorption phase of charging (ABSORPTION), battery voltage for transition to the maintenance phase of charging (FLOAT), DC output operating mode (if any), clearing of historical data, resetting to factory settings, setting the intensity of the MPPT display backlight, activation of the permanent activation of the MPPT display backlight, rate of change of the data displayed on the MPPT display. The firmware version and serial number of the controller and the MPPT display itself are also displayed. Older MPPT controllers already purchased may not offer the full range of features listed above (especially with firmware version 1.15 and below). Updating the existing firmware may be a solution. Contact Neosolar for more information. The full range of features is at the minimum MPPT controller firmware version 1.17, which all newly purchased MPPT controllers have. The display is powered primarily by a VE.Direct cable connected to the solar MPPT controller. The other option is to connect the display directly to the battery with a 2 x 1.5 mm2 cable and a fuse with a total length of 1.5 m (included in the display delivery). This cable will be used especially in situations where the MPPT controller is set to night sleep mode, where it is not active and does not power the display. The display is designed to be recessed into a wall or other surface (e.g. electrical box, dashboard). If installation access is from the rear of the display, the front square display cover does not need to be installed. The display is anchored from the rear with a screw-in clamp. If there is no installation access from the rear, the square front cover fixes the display to the wall.
