Multifunctional inverter/charger
The Multiplus is a multifunctional powerful DC-AC inverter with pure sine wave output voltage, a sophisticated adaptive battery charger and an ultra fast power transfer switch (between battery/external power supply). The inverter is housed in a plastic compact housing in a brand new attractive design.

The inverter incorporates a robust toroidal transformer that has proven its reliability in Victron Energy inverters for many years. The inverters are short-circuit proof and protected against overheating, whether due to overload or
high ambient temperatures.

Required to run loads such as power inverters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or power tools.
Programmable relay
The Multiplus is equipped with a programmable relay that is set as an alarm relay by default.
The relay can be programmed for various other applications such as a starter relay for a generator.
1 AC input and 1 AC output
The Multiplus is equipped with one AC input (for mains or generator) and one AC output. The AC output is equipped with a function that ensures an uninterrupted power supply. The Multiplus will take over power to connected appliances in the event of a mains or generator failure. This happens so quickly (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic devices will continue to operate without interruption. When Multiplus is operating in island mode, i.e. without an external power supply, it draws all of its power from the battery or the connected solar controller. Once an external source (grid or generator) is connected to the AC input, then the appliances will be powered from the external source and at the same time the Multiplus will charge the battery.
Supervisory mode "Search"
If the "Search" mode is enabled, the power consumption of the inverter during idle operation is reduced by approx. 70%. In this mode, the Multiplus switches off in case of zero or very low load. It then switches on for a short time every two seconds. If the output current exceeds the set level, the inverter will automatically switch on and continue to operate.
Four-stage charging with adaptive charger and two battery charging outputs
The main outlet provides powerful battery charging through an "adaptive charging" system.The software controls the three-stage automatic charging process to suit the state of the battery and adds a fourth charging stage - maintenance charging. In addition to this, Multi can charge a second battery using an independent charging output designed for e.g. generator starter batteries.
PowerControl - Solution for limited energy from a generator or external source
Thanks to the digital control panel of the MultiPlus units, the maximum current of the generator or external power supply can be set. The Multi then takes into account other AC appliances and uses any excess to charge, thus preventing overloading of the generator or external power supply.
PowerAssist - Increasing the capacity of the shore power connection or generator
This PowerControl feature allows MultiPlus Compact units to supplement the power of an alternative source (shore power or generator) from the battery. Where peak power is only required for a limited period of time, this feature can be used to reduce the size of the generator required or conversely this feature will allow short term high power to be achieved from a normally current limited shore connection. Once the load is reduced, the excess power is used to re-charge the battery.
Parallel and three-phase operation
Up to 6 inverters can work in parallel for higher performance.
Operation in a three-phase configuration is also possible.
