Multifunctional inverter/charger The Multiplus is a multifunctional powerful DC-AC inverter with pure sine wave output voltage, a sophisticated adaptive battery charger and an ultra-fast power transfer switch (between battery/external power supply). The inverter is housed in a compact plastic housing in a brand new attractive design. Proven reliability The proven reliability of Victron Energy professional inverters with a full 5 year warranty. The inverter incorporates a robust toroidal transformer that has proven its reliability in Victron Energy inverters for many years. The inverters are short-circuit proof and protected against overheating, whether due to overload or high ambient temperatures. High starting performance Required to start loads such as power inverters for LED lamps, halogen lamps or power tools. Programmable relay The Multiplus is equipped with a programmable relay that is set as an alarm relay by default. The relay can be programmed for various other applications such as a starter relay for a generator. 1 AC input and 1 AC output The Multiplus is equipped with one AC input (for mains or generator) and one AC output. In this mode the Multiplus will switch off in case of zero or very low load. It is then switched on for a short time every two seconds. If the output current exceeds the set level, the inverter will automatically switch on and continue to operate. Four-stage charging with an adaptive charger and two outputs for battery charging The main output provides powerful battery charging through an "adaptive charging" system. The software controls the three-stage automatic charging process to suit the condition of the battery, and adds a fourth charging stage - maintenance charging. In addition to this, the Multi can charge a second battery using an independent charging output designed, for example, for the starter battery of a generator. PowerControl - Solution for limited power from the generator or an external source Thanks to the digital control panel of the MultiPlus units, the maximum current of the generator or external power supply can be set. PowerAssist - Increasing the capacity of the shore power connection or generator This PowerControl feature allows MultiPlus Compact units to supplement the power of an alternative power source (shore power connection or generator) from the battery.
