The Victron Energy Orion XS 12/12-70A is a high-performance DC-DC battery charger designed for vehicles, boats, and RVs equipped with Euro 5 and 6 smart alternators. It offers precise and efficient charging of service batteries and resolves issues caused by voltage drops over long cable runs or low alternator charging voltage. Thanks to its wide range of configuration options, it is suitable for both lead-acid and lithium batteries. Key Features: Adjustable Charging Current Both input and output currents can be precisely adjusted via the VictronConnect app in 0.1 A increments. This protects the alternator from overload and optimizes charging of the service battery. Parallel Connection to Increase Output Current An unlimited number of Orion XS 12/12-70A units can be connected in parallel, allowing for easy adjustment of the charging power to meet system requirements.
