The MK2.2b computer interface is used for the software setup of the Phoenix series inverters and the MultiPlus and Quattro series inverter/chargers. All these devices have standard factory settings. This interface is used to change the standard settings. Parameters such as the voltage values for disconnecting and reconnecting the load, the nature of the charging voltage, the nature of the connection to the mains depending on the battery voltage or draw, and much more can be changed. On one side of the device there is an RS232 output for connection to a computer, on the other side there is a socket for connecting an RJ45 UTP cable which connects to the device being set up (not included). This is an optional device that is not absolutely necessary for the operation of the setup devices.
