The SolidSwitch 104 is a solid-state DC switch designed for switching DC loads up to 70 V and 4 A. It is controlled by a low-power digital signal, while its own power consumption is very low. This makes it particularly suitable for use in lithium systems where minimising quiescent power consumption is key. The device is designed for integration into Victron Energy systems and finds application, for example, in controlling an external alternator controller or expanding the number of chargers connected to the ATC (allow-to-charge) output of a BMS. Main features and functions Switching DC loads up to 70 V / 4 A - Designed for resistive, capacitive and inductive loads (e.g. coils of power contactors). Very low self-consumption - Consumption of approximately 0.04 Ah per month, which significantly reduces the parasitic load on the battery system compared to a conventional relay. Three typical applications - Control of an external alternator controller (e.g. in a Victron lithium system). - Switching a DC load (e.g. lighting) using a low power control circuit. - Expanding the number of chargers connected to the ATC output of the Victron BMS. Low control current - The minimum input current for switching is 30 µA. Suitable for use with BMS - When the ATC output is permanently active, the device remains active with minimal power consumption, limiting battery discharge.
