The GETI GPIU 1012S inverter with charger and UPS (uninterruptible power supply) can be used as a backup power source to ensure the operation of various appliances, especially computers and other data systems during a power outage. The inverter supplies power to the appliances from the mains. As soon as the mains power fails, it immediately starts converting the 12 V DC voltage from the backup battery to 230 V ~ AC voltage in just 15 milliseconds. When the mains voltage is restored, the inverter will again start supplying the mains power to the appliances and start recharging the backup battery. There is also a 5 V USB connector for powering mobile devices.

Additional information :
The inverter switches the fans automatically at loads above 10 W. In idle mode the fans do not spin, i.e. as long as it is only connected to the battery. when connected to the battery there is a surge current of 1A which stabilizes to 250mA after a while.
