The VOLT AVR 1000 voltage stabiliser combines the features of 2 devices: a voltage regulator and a surge protector. Its main function is to regulate automatically the voltage fed to the stabiliser input. It improves the quality of the supplied voltage, for example from the local mains or from an electricity generator.

It also suppresses interference that other devices introduce into the electrical network, which makes it a good fit for powering sensitive electronics, as listed below.
