Wodaplug EoC products are designed to use existing cable TV (CATV/STA) infrastructure for sharing Internet access or high-speed data transmission - broadband. Data signal transmission and existing CATV (and satellite TV) occurs simultaneously over the same cable with mutual compatibility. So you don't have to change your CATV network! You just need to ensure bi-directional throughput of your active network elements.
 

Easy-to-use device for connecting a building to the Internet over a common coaxial cable. Allows communication of many units over a single coaxial line at signal speeds up to 700Mbps.
 

It is designed for building a fast Ethernet network over coaxial distribution in a building, typically on a common home TV antenna. The unit coexists with the TV signal and does not affect its reception.
 

Depending on the CATV outlets installed, the unit can be connected directly between the TV receiver and the outlet port. In case the attenuation of the suppression filter in older socket types does not allow such a direct connection, the socket must be replaced. It is replaced by a so-called bidirectional socket.
 

Wodaplug EOC series is a point-to-multipoint EoC (Ethernet over Coax) solution that effectively extends your 100/1000M Ethernet network (layer-two) by 700-1500 meters at speeds up to 700Mbps using existing coaxial cable. It allows you to extend your Ethernet (layer-two) connection in buildings or homes without the need to install new cables. It is also a suitable solution for implementing an Ethernet network e.g. in factories where slow serial communication is being upgraded to Ethernet. The Wodaplug EOC1121L is a master/bridge unit that connects multiple (up to 128) EOC1121R4 slave subscriber units. The network topology can be star or tree. Based on the Homeplug AV standard. The device is designed for the MDU (Multi-Dwelling) system which provides the network administrator with the ability to control the bandwidth. At the same time, this system allows multiple users to be accommodated (as opposed to Ad-Hoc or Peer-to-Peer systems). However, the system must have this one powerful management unit that can connect a maximum of 128 client units.
 

The technology seems to be particularly suitable for IPTV transmission, which is usually sent via UDP/multicast. For this, the unit is able to achieve maximum performance. Suitable for achieving a competitive solution within the same cable distribution and coexistence with existing technology.
