Digital VCX DDS238 1F DIN rail meter

Single-phase electricity meter with LCD display, single-phase,  1x 220-230V AC / 50-60Hz.for measuring active electrical energy (kWh) in direct circuit connection using pulse output. Suitable for measuring consumption of individual tenants, in caravan parks, cottages, etc. DIN rail mounting 35 mm.

General information

The meter is designed for;for secondary metering of individual appliancesor appliances in groups. It is a precision electric meter that measures from minimum current flow values (0.25 A) up to 45 A.

LCD display displays values on the dial from 00000,1 to 99999,9 [kWh] without power supply for up to 10 years (depending on the ambient environment), the displayed measured values cannot be erased;The indication LED flashes when the phase is discharged.

The meter has a pulse output (1000imp. / 1kWh ==> 1x flash = 0,001 kWh) at terminals (20) S0+ and (21) S0-. This allows connection of an external device that counts the pulses (S0 according to DIN 43864) generated by the meter. The connection of this additional device is not required for the correct operation of the meter.

Installation and connection

Mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail, built-in width only 18 mm (1 mod.) -> saves space in the cabinet. Screw terminals for convenient connection of conductors up to 10 mm2, terminals for the neutral "N" conductor are (galvanically) interconnected and there is no need to split the "N" conductor.

It should be installed in the power cabinet, the recommended installation height is 1.8 m, the operating environment is -20 °C to +55 ?, the relative humidity should not exceed 85%, and there should be no corrosive gases in the air.

S0 output information

S0 is an interface defined by DIN 43864 and every meter should be equipped with it. Similarly, the S0 output can be obtained from a gas meter, water meter, heat meter and other devices.

Thanks to the S0 interface, you can easily, accurately and very inexpensively obtain information about your energy consumption.
