The new AM range of amplifiers are 1, 2, 3 and 4 input wideband home amplifiers suitable for outdoor environments. The individual inputs have separate output level control. Power supply to the amplifier +12V is realized remotely via coaxial cable through the output. The amplifiers manufactured by SMT technology are housed in a Zamac casting, which is protected against weather conditions by a new more durable plastic housing. Inputs and outputs are on F-connectors. The amplifier's plastic cover is adapted for both mast mounting (using the included clamp) and wall mounting. For selected inputs it is relayed via the +12V/50 mA preamplifier power switch. For the new range, the electrical and mechanical interconnection between the PCB and the Zamac casting has been improved, resulting in greater resistance to amplifier oscillation. The AM-187 amplifier has an integrated 5G filter.
