Universal self-diagnostics allows wireless transmission to read diagnostic fault codes and display their meanings, more than 3000 codes in the database. Read your car's fault codes yourself at any time with this diagnostic! This ODB II unit works seamlessly on most French vehicles, for example, but may not communicate with all cars (especially VW, Skoda, Seat, etc.). The ELM327 has support for all current five OBDII standards, so it will allow you to diagnose both American and European makes, including the current CAN-Bus. In the event that this unit does not automatically connect to the control unit, the appropriate adapter needs to be selected in TORQUE.
