When the alarm is nearing the end of its life, the detector itself will alert you with an acoustic and visual signal.

Optical and acoustic signalling
The CO alarm is equipped with three LEDs that indicate every 30 seconds whether the device is fully functional. If the detector is in an error state and the CO level in the room is not reliably measured, the LEDs will flash yellow every 30 seconds and the device will simultaneously emit an acoustic signal.

The alarm functionality can be verified at any time by pressing the TEST/SILENCE button. If the device is fully functional, an audible signal will sound 4 times and the LED will flash 4 times simultaneously.

Safety fuse
The CO alarm is equipped with a safety fuse so that you don't forget to insert batteries into the detector. If you do not insert both batteries into the device, two metal tabs under the battery compartment ensure that the battery cover cannot be closed.

Easy installation
The CO P56402 alarm is designed to be mounted on the wall or freely placed anywhere in the room. There are two holes on the detector for hanging on the wall. The alarm is easily attached by drilling two holes in the wall, inserting the included dowels and screws, and simply hanging the device.

Where to place the detector
The CO alarm P56402 should be mounted on the wall in all rooms where fossil fuel burning appliances (wood, coal, gas, petrol, etc.) are located. Dangerous concentrations of carbon monoxide are most often caused by failure or neglect of maintenance of such equipment or inadequate ventilation.

It is also recommended to place a CO detector in all rooms where you spend a lot of time (bedrooms, living rooms, children's rooms).
