The Carlo Gavazzi 3-phase meter EM24 RS485 has been replaced by the new model EM540 RS485. Advantages of the EM540 compared to the older EM24: - Faster measurements, making the ESS more responsive - Smaller footprint - Better access to RS485 connectors for easy installation The EM540 only communicates via RS485 and can therefore be used with our RS485 to USB cables: - ASS030572018 RS485 to USB interface 1.8m - ASS030572050 RS485 to USB interface 5m Features: The Victron EM540 is a standard device for power and energy measurement of 3-phase applications such as in a switchboard, or for measuring PV inverter, AC generator or inverter/charger power. Its data is displayed on the GX device and the VRM portal. The meter can be configured for four different roles in the GX device (e.g. Cerbo GX ): As a network meter and used as a control input for the ESS: - To measure the output of the PV inverter. - For measuring the output of the AC Genset. As an AC meter to measure the output of an inverter or inverter/charger.
